‘Pet Boy And The Bird’s Dream’ features handmade props-cum-sculptures; costumes and make-up; cut-out facade structures and characters; and set-pieces, around which the action is performed, gestured, hung and narrated.

Pet Boy And The Bird's Dream is supported by the UCD Artist in Residence Program and the School of English, Drama and Film. Performances and readings include: Temple Bar Gallery and Studios, Dublin; Art Box, Dublin; and Treeline Pavillion, Dublin. It premiered as a kind of work in progress, written in some future conditional tense, originally curated by Hillary Murray, at art box, Dublin. The work also exists in alternative video/animation form and features in adapted versions, including Rectangle Squared, a publication developed with UCD and NCAD, and was adapted as a navigational narrative for an exhibition held at the Crawford Gallery, Cork, in 2017.
